Crib recall, Washington, June 24. Seven U.S. factory inventories dropped this year nearly two million cribs due to problems concerning the safety of children.

According to a statement from the Federal Consumer Protection (CFPC), childrens beds of various models presented risks of accidents related to falls or suffocation.

The CFPC recalled that the problem is becoming daily in the manufacturing sector and in the past five years nine million cribs have also been collected, said the Baltimore Sun.

Between 2005 and 2010 products with major defects were produced in plants belonging to companies Enterprise Delta, Evenflo, Jardine Enterprises, LaJobi, Million Dollar Baby and Simmons Juvenile Products.

Authorities in neighboring complaints received on at least five types of beds, some 24 000 units were withdrawn in 2010 and distributors are marked Dorel, Simmons and Million Dollar Baby.
