Apple launches new low-priced Mac mini Apple announced the release of the new version of its low-cost computer, with new design and lower energy consumption at a price from $ 699. The new Mac mini unibody has caught everyone by surprise, not because of its release, it was expected for weeks, but because of its price.

The new Mac mini measures 1.4 by 7.7 inches, has an HDMI port and a new SD card slot to allow the transfer of files from a digital camera.

The new Apple device immediately connects with existing peripherals such as the mousse, keyboards and digital displays.

The new Mac reduces energy consumption by 25 percent, to below the 10W at rest.

It has a 320M Nvidia GeForce graphics processor, an Intel Core 2 Duo 2.4 GHz, a 320 GB hard drive and 2GB RAM. It comes with an operating system called Mac OS X Snow Leopard.

The exterior design has also been renovated, made of aluminum and more compact, which reduced the volume by 20%.
