Tropical storm Agatha left at least 184 dead in central America

Guatemala, El Salvador and Honduras begin to return to normal after treatment, the weekend, Tropical Storm Agatha, which killed 184 people in three countries, left thousands homeless and millions material losses.

The National Coordinator for Disaster Reduction (Conrad) from Guatemala, in his latest official report said the death toll has risen to 156, while the affected victims, evacuees and refugees totaling 400,000.

In Honduras, as reported by the Permanent Contingency Commission (COPECO), the death toll rose to 18 and the hit to 13,500.

While in El Salvador, the General Directorate of Civil Protection, in his latest official report, ten people reported killed and 11,649 evacuated.

The three Central American countries are striving to return to normal, while the authorities continue assisting the affected communities and international humanitarian aid begins to flow.
